From the stunning golden beaches to the exemplary shopping opportunities, you should have no problem finding something extra special to do with your time in the city. From there, move on to Kingman, AZ, along Route 66, one of the most famous roadways in the world. You’ll make your way through Oatman, a small mining village with rural charm and on to the Grand Canyon, taking in this unforgettable experience. During this part of the trip, you’ll spend some time looking around the canyon itself, and you might even like to take a helicopter ride to see it from the top – it’s a truly breathtaking view.
The drive to Monument Valley a scenic, taking in much of the beautiful desert; and on to Page, a small city on the edge of the Lake Powell and a fun stop-off point along the way. You’ll move on to Bryce Canyon, a truly stunning natural landmark; and on to Las Vegas to enjoy the rich and electric nature of the city. On to the Nevada desert, heading to Shoshone and Pahrump, you can admire the arid landscape, famous for being “too dangerous to settle in”. Spend time in Yosemite or Bakersfield, and finally on to San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, touring Alcatraz and simply taking in the sights of the city.
