Don Khong Island, Laos

 

This fabulous place is a part of the path that leads to the popular tourism island of Don Det. Don Khong is a tiny hidden piece of serenity that somehow misses most tourists, which makes it one of the best places to head if you want peace and quiet. You can get there from Muang Khong, so hire a bike to get around to enjoy it the most.

 

Bai Tu Long, Vietnam

 

In Vietnam, if you truly want to escape the tourist streams, head through Halong Bay to Bai Tu Long. Located in the north-eastern area of Halong Bay, its teeming with amazing landscapes like the fantastic limestone karsts, and you can do everything from kayaking and swimming to exploring pristine beaches and hidden coves that are home to dugongs.
