Things To Do In El Nido Palawan

El Nido, Palawan Philippines has some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. The cluster of 45 small islands off the tip of Palawan Island features spectacular rock formations and bright azure waters. There is plenty to do in El Nido so give yourself at least a week or more in El Nido if possible. From over water beach huts to holiday homes on the beach, there isn’t much El Nido doesn’t offer.  The Lagoons!

 

Swim through the hole to Secret Lagoon. One of the most famous places in the Philippines, secret lagoon should be on everyone’s itinerary.

 

Swim in the turquoise waters of the Large Lagoon. Large Lagoon is an enchanted place, and the colour of the water is like nowhere else on earth. This place is what paradise is shaped from.

 

Splash around in the Small Lagoon. The Small Lagoon is an open top cathedral of limestone that is located on the northern end of Miniloc Island. Vertical stone walls surround the lagoon in an almost perfect circle.

 

Visit Secret Beach

 

Secret Beach, hidden from sight thanks to the limestone cliffs that surround it is one of the most beautiful beaches in existence.

 

 

Diving In El Nido

 

El Nido is home to more than 30 dive sites. The Bacuit Bay features a wide range of stunning marine life and fascinating structural formations.

 

Hike Up To Taraw Peak

 

This two-hour hike will reward you with the best views of Bacuit Bay. The peak is around 230 metres above sea level.

 

Nagkalit-Kalit Waterfalls

 

Another hike well worth the effort takes you through lush rainforest to reward you with the spectacular Nagkalit-Kalit waterfalls. There are two falls which are 10-metres tall. The water slides down the rocks and between them is a rock pool to take a dip.
