The 9 Beaches Of Boracay, Philippines You’ll Never Want To Leave

November 14, 2018

Boracay island is simply breathtaking. For an island as small as it is, it just has so much on offer, it’s unbelievable. The island features some of the best nightlife in the Philippines, and it boasts some of the world’s best dive sites. The island is a mere 15 kilometres around.

White Beach

White Beach is the main beach of Boracay. It's a 4-kilometre-longbeach offering resorts, restaurants and many great nightlife venues along it. The main reasons why people love this beach are the gorgeous shallow, calm turquoise water, the powder white sand plus everything available right on the beach front.

Puka Beach

Since 2016 Puka Beach has undergone some significant changes with the cabanas and beach beds of a beachfront resort residing where the pristine Puka shell lined beaches used to be. It’s not the beautiful beach it used to be, but it’s still worth the visit.

Ilig-Iligan Beach

Ilig-Iligan Beach is relatively free of foreign tourists. It is secluded and lies on the North-east Coast of Boracay Island. Boasting powdery white sand and clear crystal water, Ilig-Iligan Beach is worth seeing. This beach is often overlooked by tourists and is virtually free of any development.

Bulabog Beach

Bulabog Beach sits on the eastern side of the island.  The narrow strip of between Bulabog and White beaches features a cemented road, the main road on Boracay. The unquestionable reason it draws so many people is the wind. If you’re after a beautiful beach to lay in the sun on, this is not the beach for you. If you love wind sports, however, you’ve come to the right place. Bulabog is the kite-surfing hub of Boracay.

Lapus Lapus / Lapuz Lapuz Beach

Lapus Lapus Beach is a privately-owned stretch of beach reachable through the Fairways and Blue Water Golf Resort. The golf resort stretches from the east to the west sides of the island, and the beaches are accessible through thick beachside jungle trails.

Punta Bunga Beach

A Boracay beach with no crowds, offering the island’s most pristine conditions, turquoise waters and powdery white sand. Punta Bunga is at the northern end of Boracay.

Balinghai Beach

Balinghai is a secluded beach resort at the northern end of Boracay. Located in a between limestone cliffs featuring an unspoiled cove, Balinghai is a secret paradise.

Tambisaan Beach

Tambisaan is the only beach in Boracay with large quantities of marine life. It’s perfect for snorkelling and offers plenty of space to not be bothered by other tourists.

Diniwid Beach

Diniwid is just 3 minutes north of White Beach. On the cliffside is the Spider House resort which has a lounge bar, immediate access to the ocean for swimming, and amazing sunset views.
