5 Best Things To Do in Boston

September 28, 2017

Boston has close to four hundred years of history and the city has so much to see, that you would take another four hundred years to see it all. From the famous landmarks like the Paul Revere House to Beantown's artsy side, to its fashion hotspots on Newbury Street, there really is something for everyone in Boston.

Here are five of the best things to do in Boston.

 Fenway Park

Home to the Boston Red Sox, the Fenway Park stadium is the perfect destination for fans of America's favourite pastime.  Whether you are a Red Sox fan or just want to see some live baseball action, you should definitely catch a game and while you are there, take some time to appreciate the unique architecture as well.

Boston Common

Boston Common began as a cow fallow in the mid-1600s and was transformed into a British camp after the Revolutionary War. The park is best known as the oldest public park in the country, and it hosts a range of events right throughout the year from rallies to theatre and musical performances.

Freedom Trail

The Freedom Trail travels past 16 of Boston’s most historical sites. From Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Paul Revere House to Old North Church, seeing all the trail's attractions will need a full day with some very comfortable shoes.

Paul Revere House

If you don’t know that much about American history, Paul Revere was an early industrialist, a silversmith, and a Patriot in the American Revolution. If you really want to know what life was like in the late 1700s, you should visit Paul Revere's former home, located in the North End. The house offers understanding into how homes looked in Revere's time and fans of history can appreciate the building's all-encompassing beams, expansive fireplaces and original furnishings originally owned by the Revere family.

New England Aquarium

The entire family will be excited by a visit to the New England Aquarium. You will be able to see thousands of marine creatures throughout the venue, and the main attraction, the Giant Ocean Tankis a four-story coral reef habitat that houses more than 1,000 subaquatic creatures like barracuda, green sea turtles and eels.
