From the airport at Montreal this is a 12 night journey that is guaranteed to excite and delight. You’ll spend your first days in Montreal taking a look around this amazing city, including locations such as ‘Old Montreal’ – the classic old city – as well as the upbeat and modern downtown which boasts many unique shopping locations. Moving on, you’ll head to Quebec City itself, a stunning city and the oldest in Quebec where you’ll have time to look around the Place Royale, the Chateau Frontenac and the Citadel itself. Stay for a couple of days before making your way to Tadoussac. By following the awesome Charlevoix route, you’ll ensure you experience as much as possible along the way. You’ll get to see the Montmorency Falls, larger than Niagara Falls, where you can take a cable car tour if you wish; before you move on Tadoussac itself to enjoy everything from whale watching to a trip over the St. Lawrence River.
Moving up the Saguenay River to St. Jean Lake, you can rent a bike, use your car or walk around on foot, then spend the night before continuing to St. Alexis des Monts, via the St. Felicien Zoo. Finally you’ll spend your last day surrounded by nature, with hiking opportunities abound; before returning back to Montreal for a night of further exploration.
