The National Museum - a French colonial building located in Vientiane, Laos highlighting the revolution of the 1970s.

Wat Xieng Thong - one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

Kuang Si Waterfall - a three tier waterfall about 29 kilometres south of Luang Prabang.

Phonesavanh - home of the Plain of Jars.

Wat Phia - Ravaged by wars that destroyed the entire temple, but left a giant Buddha statue fully intact,

Haw Pha Kaeo - Once a royal temple built specifically to house the famed Emerald Buddha

Wat Si Saket - a Buddhist wat in Vientiane, Laos which formerly held the Emerald Buddha.

Pha That Luang - a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of Vientiane, Laos.
