It is at Luang Prabang where the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers meet and this World Heritage City will take you away from the crowds to enjoy the relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Classic Laos will also introduce you to the best landscapes in the country and allow you to personally identify with remote hill tribes as you put on your boots for a day of trekking.

Wat Si Saket - a Buddhist wat in Vientiane, Laos which formerly held the Emerald Buddha.
Pha That Luang - a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of Vientiane, Laos.
Xieng Khuan Buddha Park - a sculpture park located 25 km southeast from Vientiane, Laos in a meadow by the Mekong River.
Baci ceremony - referred to as, su kwan, which means “calling of the soul”. Participate in this blessing, performed by a local village elder, is meant to welcome you by giving you a blessing to bring harmony and balance to your body and soul.
The National Museum - a French colonial building located in Vientiane, Laos highlighting the revolution of the 1970s.
Wat Xieng Thong - one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.
Mt. Phou Si - see the sweeping view of Luang Prabang and watch the sun set.
Pak Ou Caves - famous for the thousands of Buddha statues left inside by pilgrims.
Shangri Lao Camp - Relive the footsteps of the historic 19th century French explorer, Dr. P. Neis, with this original and authentic colonial style expedition. On arrival, you will get an introductory tour of the camp and elephants before beginning your 5km ride in a traditional Howdah seat with roof through the river, jungle and mountain tops.
